Plaza de Caeasar Chavez
An urban plaza located in downtown San Jose, CA, established in 1993 and named after activist Caesar Chavez. Also the oldest public place in California. This park also brings to locals as well as visitors to enjoy a picnic, play in the fountain or splash pad, or grab a bite from the cafe. During different seasons there are summer concerts and Christmas lights and ice skating. There is something for everyone year round including farmers markets and various events, live music, festivals and food vendors.
Adjacent to the plaza you can find the Tech Museum of Innovation and San Jose Museum of Art and can be located in Downtown San Jose. A great place for family and children to enjoy the culture and outdoors.
Plaza de Caeasar Chavez is located in Downtown San Jose, off of Paseo De San Antonio, between Park Ave. and Market St.
